2012

Genestack was founded by Dr. Misha Kapushesky, previously the Functional Genomics group leader at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI) in Cambridge, UK.

Genestack is a joint venture with JetBrains, a global leader in intelligent tools for software engineers.

Genestack’s goal is to address the biggest data science challenges, which are draining R&D efforts away from research and towards solving IT problems.

2019

Our flagship product, Genestack ODM (ODM), launched in 2019, helps organizations create & manage large catalogs of Life Science Datasets with powerful, fast integrative search and analytics across data & metadata.

2021

Today we are a fast growing, well-funded company with a loyal customer base, spanning top-10 biopharma companies and the world’s most advanced agriscience, consumer goods, and research organizations.
