Last Friday, April 18 we updated the Genestack Platform. Here's what's new:
  1. New look for the applications menu in File Manager file-manager-new-menuThe four rubrics are colour-coded and correspond to application icon colours now. If you develop an application for the platform you can specify under what category your application should appear.
  2. Create folder with files from File Provenancefile-provenance-new-folderA new button, which allows you to quickly collect all dependencies of a file into a new folder.
  3. Functional Enrichment Analysisfunctional-enrichment-analysis-1024x520A new application from our Cambridge Computational Biology MPhil intern Kevin Dialdestoro. After you use Expression Navigator to compute differential expression statistics, this application will apply a statistical test to look for Gene Ontology categories highly enriched for top d.e. genes. It provides a couple of filtering options, too. Expect a separate post about it soon!
  4. Genome Browser Reference Dense Track Full Reference Track shows all transcripts and genes with their names.gb-full-referenceBut sometimes you want a compressed view. This is a Dense Reference Track, it only shows the transcript boundaries.gb-dense-referenceYou can configure this in Track Properties:
Hope to see you on Genestack Platform soon!
